What is GetPulseCheck?
Use GetPulseCheck to verify that your endpoints are available and responding before your customers report a problem.
Outside-in monitoring
A monitor checks your endpoint from outside your infrastructure. This gives you the same perspective as a customer or integration reaching your service over the internet.
GetPulseCheck runs probes from US East (Ashburn, Virginia), US West (San Jose), Europe (Stockholm), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). Each check records availability and response time. SSL certificate expiry tracking is not live yet.
What you can monitor
- HTTP and HTTPS
- Websites and API endpoints: a GET request that counts any 2xx or 3xx response as up and fails on an invalid TLS certificate.
- Ping
- Host reachability and latency via a TCP connect to port 80 or 443.
- TCP port
- Connectivity to services that listen on a specific TCP port.
- SSL certificate health
- Certificate expiry tracking for HTTP and HTTPS monitors (coming soon).
Confirm failures across regions
A single failed check can be a transient network problem. Multi-region confirmation gives you evidence from more than one location before you act, reducing avoidable false positives during an incident.
